Business hub
The public company Aerocas is responsible for developing the Complementary Activities Area (Zona de Actividades Complementarias – ZAC). It covers a surface area of 208 hectares and is the planned location for aeronautics and logistics-related businesses as well as other industrial and economic activities.
The ZAC is in the airport’s Master Plan which defines two areas of action: the industrial area, covering a surface area of 53.39 hectares and the undeveloped internal area with a surface area of 154.98 hectares. One of Aerocas strategic objectives is to promote an economic hub linked to the airport in this reserve of land. The ZAC will be developed in stages and in accordance with business demand.
